Guild event next Weekend : A visit to Theramore.

Greetings Soldiers.

I was planning to hold our first official guild meeting at Theramore port next weekend. We have alot of young ones that never been to Theramore so we have to show everyone our glorius home town.

We will arrange an caravan/escort from Ironforge, the first stop will be at Thelsamar, so everyone can visit the Gryphon master there to pick up the flight route, the next stop will be Menethil, where everyone can pick up the flightpath and then we take the boat over to Theramore.

We will tour our Guild hall, and pay our respects to Captain Garran Vimes, and after that we can visit our local tavern there to just chit chat some and get to know eachoter better.

UPDATE! : The event is now scheduled for Sunday. Lets set an preliminary time for 18:00 Game Time.

Stormwind to Booty Bay, get the boat to Ratchet. Travel South through the barrens then west to Theramore.

Sounds "fun" indeed. Especially with a bunch of under-trained, barely organized grunts. Myself included of course. =)


I am not 100% sure I can make it to this event. But if you, sergeant Vimes, post a date and time by say Friday I might be able to squeeze it into my schedule. If it is to be announced 20 minutes prior in guild chat I will certainly miss the event which would be a shame.

While taking the fun route, please don't go west from barrens. It will bring you into some uncivilized areas... East through the dustwallow march is better.

The event sounds fun, but a time would be appreciated.

Aye lets do this instead. Would indeed be a bit more fun and it should provide with a bit more action perhaps *grins*.

Maybe we should have this trip as an standing event for new recruits. Once a new recruit have made this trip and visited Theramore, paid his respect to Captain Garran Vimes then he gets promoted to the rank of Soldier :-) .

One important thing tough. I want everyone to visit the Gryphon master in Ironforge, to get the IF fligthpath, once you done this then the trip back to Ironforge and Stormwind is easy. Just take the boat from Theramore port over to Menethil and then you can take the Gryphon back to Ironforge.

As for the day we do this? im undecided and would like more input on it. Perhaps saturday or sunday? or maybe we will just "wing it" if many people are on on friday night? (im unsure if ill be on friday).

But as i said before, we can have this as an standing event, so those who miss out can do the trip later on.
