The time for release grows close and to make it easier for us all to find each other once we start to play it might be a good idea to come up with a name before hand and put it here in this thread. It might also be a good idea to announce what class (and profession) we plan to play so that we don't end up with eight hunter/leatherworkers from the start.

I'll start with mine...

Name: Uzglug
Class: Shaman (unless everybody and their mothers are going to be shamen in which case he'll be either a hunter or a warrior)
Professions: Most likely skinning/leatherworking

Next up is...

Name: Shazgrim
Class: Hunter
Professions: Skinning & leatherworking (would a hunter do anything else? ;))

Name: Bagurz
Class: Rouge
Professions: Herbalism/Alchemy

As for professions for a hunter... I suppose one alternative, if you want to be different, is to use boomsticks (guns) and pick mining/engineering. As you can't play goblins, the horde doesn't really have a natural engineer.

Tragash

Name: Tragash
Class: Hunter
Profession: Herbalism/Alchemy

Name: Vardash
Class: Shaman
Profession: Skinning/Leatherworking

For hunters, using pots is essential in my eyes. Hunters have no healing abilities, so soloing would be pretty tough for them later on.

I have no idea how enchanting works, any insight into this profession?

By the way, I hope we all start on the RP server, right? ;)

Name: Mauuk
Class: Warlock
Professions: Was planning Herbalism/Alchemy, but since many people seem to be taking, maybe I will switch to Enchanting/Tailoring (played an Enchanter in Beta - it is a resource heavy profession, so hopefully I will be getting hefty donations from other clan members ;))

For enchanting you need magic items. You dechant those and gain magic essences which then again you can use to enchant others. *Winks* ... there is a reason enchanting is said to be a very expensive profession.

Conclusion: The clan's enchanter should receive all magic items which are not needed by anyone to ease his job. Mind that many items are soulbound anyway so that you can't give or sell them to anybody once they are not goood enough anymore. Those should be sent (by mail) to the enchanter in general since they usually contain very useful essences.

Yup, I know. I am happy to perform this role, especially as being a warlock, I am most fit of all orc classes (them having no mage), imo. ;)

updated to my warlock - took herbalism/alchemy after all, since tailoring does not really fit him ;)

I am playing an Orc on the PvP server called Zabgu he is a shaman, quite happy to make one on Argent Dawn with you chaps too, but I'll play a grunt (warrior) there. Next time I hit Argent I'll make him.

A warrior would be more than welcome. And dunno about others, but so far we have a great fun on Argent Dawn - most people we meet actually roleplay (no ooc stuff mostly), so it is fun.

You've played D&D, haven't you? :P

Anyway, long names with multiple words aren't allowed, though you can call yourself by whatever nickname you feel like I guess. :)

I used to play D&D and used to play UO too much.

Kil
20th February 2005, 19:17
Name: Vradush
Class: Warrior
Professions: Herbalism/alchemy

RotoPlumper
23rd April 2005, 11:26
Name: Krome
Class: Shaman
Profession: Herbalist/Alchemist

Likes: Rocks, Music, The Arts and Disfiguring Elves

Dislikes: Harpy Slayers which do not seem to be leiutenants and zhevra Chargers who don't have hooves. My biggest dislike is subject to frequent change depending on which race is standing in front of me at the time.

Hobbies: I like to collect ears which I transform through the medium of art into tasteful wind chimes with which I like to decorate my home and make gifts for others. I am a giving person.

If I was El Presidente I would: Ban all zhevara chargers that don't have hooves, Make sure that every household had a dwarf to do the dishes. No two dwarves in fact one to kick the other one around if he was found slacking and make the world a more peaceful place by annexing Darnassus, Stromwind and Ironforge. And rename Stormwind to Stromwind to prevent typos.

Other Info: I consider myself a modern Orc but still ground in the traditions of our ancestors. One day I would like to write a book entitled 101 uses of a Dead Elf.

hmmm, this is my first post here so hi to everyone in the Severed Heads clan... The normal question I get asked is what is a RotoPlumper so I will answer this now. It is a random name generated by the gamespy naminator that was chosen for it's lack of threat and inability to be construed as anything other then neutral.

If you have taken the time to read this entire post then thank you for your time. I hope to see you all in the game and I will be attending the meeting online on sunday, so please throw another elf on the barbie for me...

Torgruk

Lok'tar!

Name: Torgruk
Class: Warrior
Skills: Mining, smithing

OOC: unfortunately my playtimes are somewhat odd, so many may not often see me. If I'm on in the daytime, I will be upholding the honour of the Severed Heads. If I'm on at night I will most likely be wandering the Barrens with my shaman wife. :)

Nagak
12th October 2005, 14:45
Name: Nagak
Class: Rogue
Profession: Miner/Enginnering

Seems like Nagak has done some workout.. no longer a slow Thumpa ;)
