OOC: I am currently unable to login to the WoW forums (damn login failure error), so I'll post this here to advertise the new roleplaying guild I am founding.

The Azure League, an association of those who share a love for knowledge, learning, education, and exploration, is in its founding stages. The guild's founder is Solmyr, a human mage, but membership is not limited to users of magic - everyone who embraces our principles is welcome to join. Our guild charter is as follows:

- We seek to learn, explore, and record our findings.
- We strive to acquire new knowledge, not to destroy something we don't understand.
- We propagate the use of lore, both of arcane and mundane, rather than shun it, as long as it can be used for the benefit of all.
- We teach and advise others, but do not guide them by the hand, for knowledge is something ultimately acquired on one's own.
- We fight to defend our lands, but do not attack others needlessly.

We maintain friendly relations with the Explorers' League of Ironforge, whose goals are similar to ours. We also share knowledge with the gnome tinkers and engineers. Our enemies include the Scarlet Crusade, who destroy without discrimination. While they are not our direct enemies, we condemn the Royal Apothecary Society for acquiring their knowledge in an evil manner.

Those interested in becoming founding members should contact Solmyr (via in-game mail or direct contact) or e-mail me at rhomaion -at- gmail.com

Scarlet Crusade, who destroy without discrimination?

Royal Apothecary Society ?

Not really knowledgeable about ingame fiction ( the books and scrolls background make it too hard for me to read the text.)

The two you mentioned and the Ardent Dawn, what are they about.

Seems so far to me to be 7 neutral factions.

The Scarlet Crusade are the people who mainly fight the Forsaken in Tirisfal Glades. However they see pretty much everyone as corrupted and thus attack anyone on sight. Their main base is the Scarlet Monastery north of the Undercity.

The Royal Apothecary Society is a Forsaken organization based in the Undercity, they engage in various research to benefit their faction. Though if you've ever been to the Undercity you'll that they aren't too concerned about who they kill in the course of said research.

Argent Dawn seems to be some sort of anti-undead organization. They have a house in Stormwind, but it's empty. There is also a member of them standing in Misty Pine Retreat in Dun Morogh. Don't know much more about them.

Perhaps the Roleplaying forum would do better, most roleplayers probably read it more. :)
