So ... whatever happened to chosing one server for alliance and another for horde? (so we can play together with secondary characters) But I guess we got both, horde and alliance, on Argent Dawn now - oh well.

Still, do you think we might manage to chose Argent Dawn for alliance characters and some PvP server for horde?

But for now I'm off to the shop to grab a copy, although I fear I need some luck to get one (people are going totally crazy here, the most popular game shop in town announced on their website that they unplugged their phone because of WoW requests)

So wish me luck!

The RP server is a PvE server so people can make Horde and Alliance characters on the same account, no restrictions there.

For the PVP servers we will need to designate a Horde and an Alliance server IMHO so people know where they can find their friends to PvP on with or against... :)

Those starting as Night Elves can seek me out, the name's Haldir, I'm usually seen being chased by random critters with big fangs. If you're in luck, I'll have some leather kits in my backpack and will be able to strengthen your leather armor pieces. For free of course :)

I don't think there's a slick way on WoW :(

To get a surname, you'd have to type something like "BuffySummers"*

Naming has to be one of WoW's weaknesses - no spaces or apostophes in names does limit your choices...

*NB: This is just an example ;)

I did what I was speculating about last night ... I bought the game (english version) in a local shop since amazon.uk estimates its delivery to arrive here around the 25th of February!!! However the french are no better. Coming home and eager to install the official website clearly states (once again): Account Creation Pages Down. Unbelievable.

Looking forward to see you maybe tonight ... *grumbles*. By the way if any of you is going for tailor let us know! You will need linen cloth and wool (both usually drops from humanoid monsters) as urgent as each of us needs plenty of bags which you will be able to craft soon. I consider this the most important common task in the beginning.

In the Severed Heads clan I will probably go Tailor with my Warlock (since I can't think of any other particularly useful profession with his other one being Enchantment).

Although my main char at the moment is on Warsong, on Argent Dawn I made an Alliance char I will be playing at times (well, who knows, maybe it'll become my main, depends on which one is more fun to play :).

Anyway, name is Deidameia, human warrior currently doing those same n00b quests that I did n+1 times in beta.

Anyone else notice the rpers on theer server, (so used to saying shard), need lessions on talking in rp mode?

I should read the rules for the rp server.

What with all these chat windows. I am using Guild for advice, /s for rp talk. Might have to mug a dwarf and learn dwarven. Havent used "looking for group" or the others yet.

Pretty much the same for me too.. All my roleplaying is done with /s command. Party chat/Guild Chat and so on are just for information, ofcourse some roleplaying is done in party now and then too.

So hows everyone doing?

Anyone seen any rp action?

Some funny jokes in the game, the dwarf mortar team, is a laugh.
Made a dwarf thsi morning was lvl 8 an hour later

The elf stories are more sad though.

Been to most if not all the capital cities, we elves are so far away compared to all you. But seems the Taurens and Orcs like to gatecrash.
