Thoughts... whats yours?

Basically, as the poll show right now, its going to be a PvP horde. And as many know, im a elf fan ;) I played as a elf in UO for well over 6 years now. So its grown in to my gens so to speak :9

And i have ideas to make either a PvP section of the Elves of Andune as well on the RP server (English). Now, if we will go as PvP Horde, i have ideas to skip the PvP section for Andune (for the time being). But i'd like to know what would be the focus on the PvP shard. Would we go for Undead guild? Orcs? Or make a big mix of everything. Myself would love to see if we could focus on one specific race.. Would look quite nice if you ask me.

What are yer thoughts?

Should time allow, my main will be human paladin and my alt a night elf. I am flexible on the server choice but not on this. Like you said it yourself, Paladins are in my genes. It'd be just wrong if my main was one hehe.

Well my preference is horde, but I know you guys like your namby pamby Alliance characters too, so I fully intend to spend time building a Dwarf Hunter too. I want a big gun.

Talking about Hunters, one thing that annoyed me. In the description it goes on about how the hunter is some sort of eco-warrior who is horrified by the spread of industry etc., So when I first read that, I asuumed it was warriors who could only use guns, because how could a character who hates "industry" use a big gun? Well silly me.....

My horde character will be an undead priest type thing. I've had some fun playing one of those in the beta. I'm also definitely up for the sort of concept Elvy was going on about, whereby we have characters who are all Orcs etc., brings back a vague memory of Farmers outside Skara Brae....

BTW Thorin, Britney needs to go on a diet, looking a bit gruff ;)

Well shave my ass and call me grandma, the lost briton has surfaced again. How've you been? And where have you been hiding? :) So the tides of Warcraft will bring us together again, huh? That should be tons of fun. Dwarven sniper? Splendid!

As for Britney, she's now Mrs. Federline diet or no diet. So I've kinda given up on her (yeah, that was the ONLY reason why i couldn't bed her) and switched offically to Angelina Jolie. Yummy! Though I am now in a serious relationship (serious = we only screw other people outside our native country /joke) so AJ and all her look-a-likes will for now have to remain just a dream.

Well I hope you all decide to have chars in the Alliance, it'd be so much fun to get the gang together again.

I´ve been thinkin' bout it all night; and have finally decided to go with the flow even if that means i´ll play a human rogue instead of my planned troll one... :-)

Our unity is more important.

As for the specific race type of guild, I´m feeling hesistant as to that being a good idea or not.
I think that the racial differances opens up a specific thing to ropeplay opon, and adds flavour to communication.

Well, an orc or undead guild wouldnt be so bad either (cause they are so kewl!)...but orcs can't play mages for example, etc...

I agree though, it's important we all get together again... only way we'll get some decent RP fun in WoW.

As expressed before I am linked to two rl mates who generally want to join the Alliance as dwarves, while I favour an elf. Not sure about their opinions about PvP or RP server. I just asked them by email and am awaiting their responses.

I could also enjoy an orcish career (more than an undead), yet that is a secondary choice (and char). Hoowah!

As far as PvP is concerned I have had my share now. Occasional skirmishes are fun, even big raids ... yet not being able to solve some quests because the places (and questgiving npcs) are under constant attack is starting to bore me.

I always stated that I would prefer PvP since I could not imagine Horde players moving freely in Alliance territory. Changed my mind because exactly that is happening all the time with high level players exploiting the poor AI (especially the fact that npcs don't follow you into the water).

Well, now that i have been playing WoW for sometime, i think i start to form a opinion about what to do and such things.

I have yet to try the PvP in WoW yet, but i was in the orc newbie town today (with my orc char) and it got attacked by some lvl 50 paladins and such things. Basically they were grifing around.

But i can imagen how it looks once you get into the deeper parts of the game. I was told that corpse camping, is evry common (that they camp your corpse when you try return making it impossible for you to get your items back).

Ofcourse things might change if they put in the Honor system, but i think thats something that wont come in the first few months.

So myself will probably join a PvE/RP server, hopefully also with many of the roleplayers from UO and Europa.

As for race and class, im still unsure! :*
However, i lean towards the Night Elves, and the hunter class. But we shall see, but i can say that its probably 95% chance that ill go with Elves :7
