Will play around either with a gnome rogue or an elven priest on EN Final Beta 5 (PvP). Well, at least that's the plan ... *snickers*.

News say that they allready have closed the registration for beta phase two.. LoL! i wonder how many signed up!

Servers aren't up yet. In german forums people quote a message which informs about an extended downtime for a couple of hours starting at 22:00 CET (Paris) and lasting until early Saturday. After current and new testers who succeeded in creating an account will be able to play.

Wartungsarbeiten, Patch und ein Betatest Update

Die Server werden heute Abend um 22:00 Uhr Pariser Zeit für Wartungsarbeiten und einen Patch heruntergefahren. Diese Prozedur wird voraussichtlich einige Stunden in Anspruch nehmen; wir planen, die Server und die offiziellen Foren Samstag früh wieder hochzufahren. Sobald die Server wieder online sind können die derzeitigen Tester den Patch herunterladen und spielen. Gleichzeitig erhalten alle Spieler Zugang zum Spiel, die erfolgreich einen Account für den zweiten Teil der finalen Phase des europäischen World of Warcraft Betatests erstellt haben.


Nothing but a rumour, though. The server I mentioned is one of those already existing where I am planning to plunder the riches of two mates level 30+ while experimenting with classes I probably won't play after release (priest, rogue). With the alliance. On the downside this means I will be a very lowbie in a world flocked with hostile players level 40+ and getting ganked a lot. Something one probably won't experience on a fresh server.

Hm, interestingly enough EN 5 is shown as PvE on http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.php?serverid=106&factionid=-1&minlevel=10&maxlevel=60&servertypeid=2 . Should be a mistake since my friends there are constantly talking about PvP.

By the way ... on EN 5 the relation alliance:horde is like 45%:55%!

A friend of mine had that (or a similar) problem i think; it was a firewall problem.

Yep! Fer sure the firewall problems. Had to remove it to get the game to work x(
