Uhm... Well, I think I read a forum too many. I just couldn't help myself with an empty forum, forgive me!
Anyway, I've been invisible for a time now and just thought I'd bimble a bit about what has happened. And the truth is: Not much really, which is why this is such a great bimble topic!
I got a new job this summer which takes quite a bit of time, but also supplies an improved economy something that I find very neat. Me and my fiancee decided to upgrade our home and bought a new apartment. With that I sadly downgraded my internet connection from my lovely 10Mbit to a mere 512Kbit. Hang on! Don't shout at my just yet! I promise, it wasn't that bad an idea. I've already contacted the ISP in Sweden providing the broader band so hopefully in a year or two it will be in place. ;)
Anyway, I think I am digressing if such a thing is possible when bimbling.
The thing is that we moved into an apartment with a sloping roof meaning the walls are merely 1.30 meters at the long sides of the apartment. The ceiling is of course at 2.40 in the middle of the apartment, but that doesn't help us full-grown. It's still a limiting factor. To my amazement the bathtub was placed in a corner where someone of my height would either have to sit down and take a shower or stand bent like some(one)thing very crooked. Hardly acceptable, as you probably realize, I refuse to sit down to take a shower. There's plenty of time for that, in 40 years or so. Anyway, my point, if you need one from me, is that the builders we hired to do the work on the bathroom to include a standing shower and general refreshing of the facility has the poorest planning I've ever encountered. They finished the shower only a week late, which is sort of acceptable, but it delayed us moving in something that I found annoying. However, they have failed to install the bathtub and we're getting more and more lame excuses as to why it is delayed. Today is a month from when they promised they'd be ready. It was frustrating but has transcended into a weird sort of comedy for cynics.
Ah well, I just want to take a bath!
